For 2025, we introduce the ATH-AC5TW air-conduction open-ear headphones, which take a new approach to keeping you aware of ambient sound by leaving the flow of air open.
Freely enjoy the audio you love while going about your daily life. For example, listen to an audio book while taking a walk, or enjoy your favorite artist while doing housework. Since your ears are left uncovered, you can still hear surrounding sounds, including the people around you. These headphones are also safe to use when you are out and about, letting you stay aware of approaching cars and bicycles.
In addition to letting you safely hear the sounds around you, the headphones are engineered to deliver premium quality sound. Large 17 x 12 mm drivers are used to reinforce the bass, creating a powerful audio experience despite the open design. Two algorithms that reinforce the low-frequency range provide a well-balanced, voluminous sound for enhanced enjoyment. The headphones alone provide up to 13 hours of continuous playback, and this is extended to up to 34 hours when combined with the charging case. The earbuds are lightweight and can be worn over the ear for long hours of comfortable use. Another feature of the headphones is their simple, intuitive operation.
