Bored from the lack of football action in Japan due to current circumstances, Japanese football fans rallied together on Twitter to create a fictitious club with made up players and created match reports of their “matches.” Their popularity quickly grew and gained a big following soon after. Eventually, J-league and a few sponsors came onboard to support the club’s goal of bringing entertainment to people on social media.
