Crankshaft vibrations that occur during sudden clutch engagement or high revolutions indirectly affect the flywheel and cause loads on the bolts. As a result, the bolts may not be able to withstand the vibrations and may loosen, leading to a very dangerous situation. These flywheel bolts are reinforced bolts made by the highly reliable ARP company, and have a tensile strength that far exceeds that of genuine products.
